The opinions expressed on this discussion forum website are those of the individuals that posted them and do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrators

If you're new here, read this first:

- I'll start by saying that the forum flows from simplest areas (General, Jokes, God chat) near the top to the most difficult areas (Brethren, Theology) near the bottom.

- Some areas at the bottom (Theology) are private and need special access from usergroups. Click on the word usergroups at the top right, above log in

- Some of the goals of the forum are:

a. creating meaningful dialogue about a group of churches known as Plymouth Brethren, Bible Chapels, Gospel Halls, etc.

b. discussing how these assemblies are dealing with the complex issues of the 21st century

c. how the next generation of young people in these assemblies will assume the leadership in these churches

d. a place online for open spiritual discussion, inclusive of those who would call themselves athiests, agnostics, seekers, etc. This is not an exclusive christian forum and because of that theology debates have a special area

I think to sum it up we would like something similar to http://www.youthontherock.com for brethren youth/students. Visit the site to see what we mean. As we've stated before, our desire isn't to have some heavy theological board, but something light and fun and spiritually satisfying.

I thought this was clear to everyone but in the interests of all I'm posting it again:

I've tried a few times to explain the philosophy of the forum, however it seems that I need to do so again.

1. The easiest, least christian topics are at the top. This includes your opinion on things like favorite sports teams or jokes. The Introduction section is a place to greet each other, just like if you were welcoming someone to your own home.

2. In the middle are "hot topics" that should involve everyone. Again they are not specifically christian in nature. A variety of topics will be tolerated. If you are uncomfortable with areas like "sex" and other religions then please go to the theology or brethren area.

3. Closer to the bottom is the explicit christian area. Theology chat is the "no holds barred" section and the brethren area is for brethren stuff.

My apologies if that was not clear from the information provided when you signed up. But please, if we are ever going to have any profitable discussion with anyone who disagrees with us we need to have some grace and not simply be on attack mode.

In closing please understand that purposes of the seperate areas of the forum and post accordingly.

Over the next few weeks I will be seeking to reduce the number of forums so that this can be easier for everyone. If you have a suggestion about a forum or are of discussion then please click on "pm" below and send me a private message.
