VATICAN CITY - Pope John Paul II rose into the clouds above the Vatican in a miraculous turn of events. After suffering heart failure, during treatment for a urinary tract infection, Vatican officials say that the Pope was raised to heaven in a manner similar to Jesus before him. Stunned onlookers took pictures and videos, and sang hymns as the Pontiff rose into the clouds. Waving to the cheering faithful, the Pope uttered only 2 words as he rose into the clouds

I just heard on the radio that he has now actually died. I can't confirm it from any news websites yet though so it could be a twisted April Fools thing.

My question is, where in the Bible does it talk about the false prophet promoting one world religion?

The Bible says that near the end times of this world, two people who will be known, the Antichrist and the false prophet.
Revelation 19:20 "Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone."
Revelation 13 tells more about this false prohpet and the antichrist.

Will the rapture come soon? We can't know for sure, but must continue to trust that God holds the world in His hands and in the end He will be glorified.
